UMS Event Support

Events

University Media Services provides technical design, planning and support for events throughout campus. This encompasses all type of events, from simple PA set ups to full stage productions including professional live musical, dance and dramatic performances. The UMS Event Support staff is the exclusive provider of technical support in the performance venues Mitchell Hall, Pearson Hall, and the Center for the Arts. We also coordinate and provide technical support for all large university related events in Delaware Stadium and the Bob Carpenter Center including Commencements and Convocations.

Scheduling

While UMS handles all technical support we do not schedule any facilities. All requests for space in Mitchell and Pearson venues need to be directed to the Center for the Arts. Once the space is reserved for an event, UMS will contact the client to discuss technical needs. UMS has sole discretion to determine the level of technical support required to properly support an event. An estimate will be provided upon request.

Audio Support

UMS provides audio support for both indoor and outdoor events. With few exceptions all UMS audio equipment requires professional set up and operation. Please contact UMS/Event Support to request audio services and view our rates.
