DVD Authoring

In addition to DVD duplication, UMS offers professional DVD authoring services. DVD's can be created with varying levels of complexity. In the simplest case, we'll take your source media and convert it into DVD format. Your video will play automatically when the DVD is inserted with no opening menu. In addition, we're able to offer more complex DVD's including chapters, interactive menus, slideshows and multiple audio tracks and other advanced DVD features. We'll also be sure to carefully choose the optimum data rate for your video, yielding the best combination of quality and file size.

We can deliver a single DVD of the final product, or you may choose to take advantage of our DVD duplication service, which includes full color thermal printing.

Source Formats Accepted

We can create DVD-Videos from many different tape formats. The encoding fee for under two hours of video is $25.

If you choose, you may provide us with the encoded MPEG-2's, or perhaps a DVD you created on a home computer or recorder that you just need to add features to.

Costs

UD clients: $60 / hr.

Outside clients: $100 / hr.
