DVD Duplication
UMS can duplicate DVD-Video or DVD-ROM projects for you. We use only high-quality 4.7GB Taiyo Yuden® white lacquer DVD-R (general) blank media for maximum compatibility with most players. Generally, orders can be completed in a few days.
You get full color thermal printing included at no extra cost! Thermal printing is superior to inkjet or sticker labeling. The ink will never run or smudge if it gets wet and always maintains a glossy finish that's hard to distinguish from silkscreening used on mass produced discs. You can design your own label by downloading our template here. Or at an additional cost, we offer full design services to create a label that coordinates with your company or department.
Your copies will be returned in a cake box (spindle) or in white Tyvek© sleeves with clear windows at no extra cost. You can upgrade your order to clear-on-black slim line jewel cases for $.50 more per disc.
Source Formats Accepted
We prefer to have a disc image file of your DVD. You can also provide us with a master disc. At an additional cost, we will create a master for you.
We can also create DVD-Video duplications from many different tape formats. The standard encoding rate is 5.4 Mb/s, which yields approximately 2 hours of video. This rate can be adjusted on request. The mastering fee for under two hours of video is $25.

Costs
Please read this section carefully.
- All prices include full-color thermal printing direct to the disc surface. You are charged the same regardless of whether your disc is printed or not-- even if you have a single line of black text.
- All prices include your choice of no packaging, a white Tyvek© sleeve, or a clear-on-black slimline jewel case.
- Costs are for a single title (each individual disc). Multiple titles in a single job are be priced individually.
- Academic Cost pricing requires that the discs are directly related or directly used for a University of Delaware numbered/lettered course (for example: ENGL 101, ARTH 301, etc). The UD numbered/lettered course is required at the time of your order.
- All other uses (including those inside or outside UD) will be charged at the Standard Cost.

UMS cannot remove any anti-piracy measures in order to make a copy of media, even with copyright clearance.
