Tape/Disc Format Conversion
UMS can convert many types of analog and digital video and audio media to one another. We are able to do conversion between different television standards as well as different physical media formats. If your source media needs to be edited first before conversion, our editing costs are $60/hour. Labels will be black text on plain white. See below for a full list of types we support.

Costs
Costs are $40 for up to one hour of content and $50 for two hours for conversion plus the cost of the blank media.
* Costs when the source format is a DVD and the destination is a digital file format, the cost is $20 for up to one hour of content and $25 for two hours for conversion. An example is converting a DVD to play on a web site.
Copyright
UMS will not copy any content for which you do not hold copyright or copyright permission. This includes (but is not limited to) software titles, training videos, movies, and promotional videos. UMS will not remove any anti-piracy measures in order to make a copy of media, even with copyright clearance.
