Live Webcasting

IT-UMS/ITV offers a full service webcasting operation making the process of streaming your next event or speaker easy. We employ hardware based switching equipment combining multiple cameras and computer visuals into a seamless RealVideo stream.

We will first meet with you to evaluate the needs of the event, if we will be able to use the existing equipment in the event space, and answer any questions you may have about the process.

Speaker Release Form

IMPORTANT: UMS will not record any speaker or event unless a video and/or audio release form has been signed by all parties that will be recorded. This form must be signed and returned prior to the event. You may return via campus mail or fax to 831-4533.

IT-UMS also maintains the UD Live! web site which contains a current listing of live streaming events as well as past events available on demand.

Costs

Internal UD Clients: Live webcasts are $235/hour which includes equipment, one switch technician and one camera operator. Additional cameras and operators are available at $60/hour. Web site design, programming, archiving of on demand version is $60/hour and varies by job.

External UD Clients: Live webcasts are $425/hour which includes equipment, one switch technician and one camera operator. Additional cameras and operators are available at $100/hour. Web site design, programming, archiving of on demand version is $100/hour and varies by job.
